Michelle LaCourse

Michelle LaCourse brings an impressive playing and coaching background to our facility, specializing in pitching and hitting instruction for softball. A standout athlete at UT-Chattanooga (2007–2012), Michelle earned multiple accolades, including Southern Conference Player of the Year (2011, 2012) and SoCon Female Athlete of the Year (2012). She remains the only softball player to achieve this honor and was inducted into the SoCon Hall of Fame (2022) and UTC Hall of Fame (2023).

As a coach, Michelle served at UT-Chattanooga from 2013–2018 and has been providing private lessons since 2012. Beyond coaching, she’s a color commentator for SEC Network and ESPN+, lending her expertise to collegiate and high school softball events.

Michelle is passionate about helping young athletes elevate their game and values the collaborative, fun, and learning-focused environment fostered by the team. Married to Zack and a proud mom to daughters Madolyn (8) and Margaret (4), Michelle is dedicated to shaping the next generation of players.
